Trunnion Ball Valve mainly refers to big size ball valve which needs a trunnion to support the big ball at the bottom of the ball valve. This Supporting Trunnion can help users to open or close the ball valve much easier.

There are many kinds of Trunnion Ball Valves. You can find some in the following:

1. Side Entry Trunnion Ball Valve is the most common one. According to its meaning, the ball was assembled into the trunnion ball valve from right or left side.

2. Top Entry Trunnion Ball Valve is a kind of ball in which the ball was assembled from the top of that trunnion ball valve. Top Entry Trunnion Ball Valve can make pipeline maintenance easily as users can check or maintain the valve without dismatlting it from the pipeline. Maintenance can be achieved only by removing the top bonnet of the ball valve and taking the ball out to check it.

3.Orbit Trunnion Ball Valve is similar to a gate valve. Orbit Ball Valve can also be called Rising Stem Ball Valve. When users rotate the stem, the trunnion  ball can move accordingly so as to close or open the valve,  to cut the flowing medium or to change the medium flow direction.
