Structural principle of regulating valve（3）

A regulating valve is usually composed of two parts: an electric actuator or a pneumatic actuator and a valve body. There are two main types of straight stroke: straight single seat and straight double seat. The latter has the characteristics of high flow capacity, low imbalance force, and stable operation, so it is usually particularly suitable for situations with high flow rate, high pressure drop, and large leakage.

 

The working principle of a regulating valve is based on the movement of the valve core, which adjusts the flow rate and pressure of the medium by changing the channel area of the medium. When the regulating valve receives a control signal, the actuator will move the valve core up or down, change the opening of the valve, and control the flow and pressure of the medium. When the actuator stops moving, the positioning mechanism fixes the valve core in the designated position to ensure the accuracy and stability of the regulating valve.
