Steam Separator

Steam Separator, also called Drain Separator or water separator, is a dispensable device for Boiler system to separate water from steam so as to improve the efficiency of the steam pipelines. It's often used together with Steam Traps

The Steam Separators that we Goole Valve can supply is CF11 / CF41 Boiler Steam Separator, UFS Boiler Steam Separator, AS Boiler Steam Separator, QF Boiler Steam Separator, S7 Baffle Type Steam Separator, etc. These steam separators can not only be used for the removal of contained liquids in steam, but also in compressed air and gas systems.

Generally these steam separators should be installed in a horizontal pipeline with the drain port straight down.

Steam Separators with all sizes are fitted with support brackets which can be used to minimize piping loads. To ensure that any separated liquid can be drained quickly, suitable liquid drainage valve or called steam trap must be connected to the drain port.

When Steam Separators are applied in the steam system with air, air might be gathered in the upper portion of the separator. In this situation, the protection plug i the air vent port  shall be removed and suitable air valve should be connected to it. If not, the protection plug in the air vent port shall be removed and the air vent port shall be installed with a calss 300LB Carbon Steel Plug
