Butterfly valve leakage problems
In our dayliy life, we can often see some butterfly valves in pipeline system or other fields. And valve uses sometimes meet butterfly valve leakage problem, so how to solve it?
1. The butterfly valve inner leakage problem:
A pneumatic butterfly valve is installed on blanking tube that the crew conveyor adds powder into reactor, some solvent( acetone) in reaction process will evaporate backflow. If there is leakage internal butterfly valve, it will increase solvent loss, and be easy to make powder in the tube gathered into a rounded mass to block pipeline.
2. The butterfly valve leakage solutions:
The root cause of internal leakage is type selection. Internal sealing material forms of butterfly valve is divided into soft seal and hard seal. If you can not avoid the dust/powder clumpping and agglomerating, it is better to consider other forms of valves.
